HAPPY (BELATED) INDEPENDENCE DAY

           JULY MEETING

   We will have two guest speakers at our 16 Acres Civic Association monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 17th at 7:p.m. at the Church In the Acres on Wilbraham Road.
    Mr. Parker Fennly from the Shell station on Breckwood Blvd/ Wilbraham Rd. will discuss putting a canopy over the pumps and a barrier as a safety precaution.
    The Restorative Justice Collaborative of Hampden County will discuss the impact of crime on victims, offenders and the community.
   A donation of a non-perish-able food item for the Open Pantry would be appreciated.

          NEW BUSINESSES

                  PICNIC

    The 16 Acres and Outer Belt Civic Associations are hosting a picnic for all members and their families. The picnic will take place on Saturday, August 18^th at 2:00 pm at Camp Wilder on Parker Street.
     We will have a grill with hot dogs and hamburgers. Please let us know if you wish to bring a salad, dessert, chips or anything else you may have in mind.
     It is important for us to know how many people to expect so contact us with how many adults and children in your group.

               To Michael & Christina Ratkiewicz on the birth of their first child, Dominick Christopher. Dominick was born on June 25^th weighing in at 8lbs. 12ozs.
